What a crazy few months it has been. I realized today that I havn't typed up anything for a loooong time. I watch two adorable baby boys right now, and we have been getting our yard done so it looks nice and not so "white trashy," as Andrey likes to say. Our poor yard and house need so much work.
We laid some sod down up front, re-landscaped the front yard and planted the cutest plum tree (we were so excited, Andrey and I stared at it for a good half hour the day we got it). It's funny how you get so excited about the littlest things when they are yours.
We got a whole bunch of pretty bricks from ANdrey's mom so we have been using those few pallet loads to decorate the yard with planters and in the backyard, we made a garden with them.
We planted tomatoes, cabbage (but I thought it was broccoli, so if anyone wants cabbage let me know), bell peppers-and we already have two big ones, squash, peas, beans, and thanks to our awesome neighbor, Zach, we are growing corn for the first time. We also have other vegies that will make us strong and healthy.
We are so excited for this weekend. Bailee, my younger sister, is having a "Polo Burning Party" with a whole bunch of her friends-at our house. We have been busy getting our pool ready, slip and slide up, vinyl fence put in the back so it is neater looking, swing set up, fire pit cleaned out and chairs ready to go, and tonight we are setting up the volleyball net and horseshoes. We have about a half an acre, so we are trying to make this party f or her as fun as possible. There are a lot of cute boys she likes that will be there. Hee,hee.
So, this is what has been keeping us busy. There are other activities that have been going on so I will for sure post about those.
Kisses!
